In music the boys will
*identify the musical elements within the Last Post
*explore songs which demonstrate conflict – What the World Needs Now(Tom Clay mix) and Masters of War by Bob Dylan
*compare and contrast musical elements in both songs
*name notes and rests – treble clef/bass clef
*read and play a simple melody on the keyboard
* sing and sign a melody using do re mi
Those boys already learning piano will identify and play the melody for What the World Needs Now - chorus and the melody for the round 'Good News'
In dance the boys will
*learn to move and keep a strong beat
*learn to confidently follow a choreographed sequence of movement to music
