Week Six Term 4

Sorry it has been a while since the last update.

The boys are going along very well, post exams. A busy time ahead. Athletics this Friday, weather permitting.

Prep this week: Speech. The boys are to compose as 2 1/2 to 5 minute speech on their choice of subject. I have encouraged them to choose a topic that they already have a good knowledge of. I will also be getting them to complete a NZ quiz in class and for homework during these last few weeks.

Keep in touch if you have any questions.

Week One Term 4

Hard to believe. Please find below the programme etc for the first part of term leading up to exams. Mr Webb has been through this with the boys and I will be following up in class.

Please refer to 8MW blog for extra details in regards to Social Science.

                         Priorities
                         Questions
                         Resources- People/Digital
In class:  Week 1- Study Skills
                Week 2 - Workshops

Wednesday: Literacy- 8:40-10:10
Thursday: Science - 8:40-10:10
Friday: Social Science - 10:30-12:00

Example of S.S. type work for exam:

1: Knowledge (40%)- What does SCAMPER stand for?
